alrighty! today has come! ahhhh!! :D will post pics up when im back.
so exciting. as though im going for a camp trip. hee...
Edwin (victor's housemate) cooked lunch for us! CHAR SIEW CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? it was yummy. and it was accompanied by a generous serve of stir fried french beans and carrots. yumm. Edwin's cousin came over for lunch. she is so small and cute and YOUNG. argh. 19 only.
had steamboat at Hans' place. Heaps of food. and we didnt finish it all as usual. Wonderful dessert by Venita and Ian ( Victor's mistress) Hans' dad is a funny guy. very knowledgable too. Sign i miss home... steamboat never fails to remind me of chinese new year eve at home.
i really do hope i don't forget to bring anything. i am so forgetful.
On a side note. I had like the most tickling conversation with Wong on msn. Thus, I shall part with the following advice....

2 posts in the same day. either there's nothing else better to do or that im running away from stuff that has to be done. it's the latter tonight. haha.
the weather today was purrfect. sunny but not glaring. with a nice breeze. walked around the place. went to see the guys at the oval coz they were playing soccer. i ran off to the gym to run. came back. joined the soccer for abit. decided i have too much phobia for the ball to play it well. lol.
btw... i was at Woollies (supermarket) and IAN LOW LISTEN UP! guess what the tooot i saw?? the silly meow meow thing that tiffany gave u for your birthday! hahaha. i nearly died laughing. imagine the world infiltrated by such toys. hilarious. hilarious.
came back. made fried bee hoon. except the silly daffie bought tang hoon instead of beehoon. so we had fried tang hoon instead. and tang hoon sucks water like it has never drank liquid for a century. so the whole thing was rather...dry. sob. i should have just used spaghetti! argh.
enuff shit for today. me is tired.

Your Birthdate: March 1 |
Your birthday suggests that are executive ability and leadership qualities in your makeup. A birthday on day 1 of any month gives a measure of will power and self-confidence, and very often a rather original approach. This 1 energy may diminish your ability and desire to handle details, preferring instead to paint with a broad brush. You may be sensitive, but your feelings stay rather repressed. |
On a side note, michael buble concert is SO GOOD. he is so witty! his voice is good. he is entertaining.. and best of all. he is hilarious. I totally enjoyed the concert. I'm sure tiff did too! haa. we didnt manage to take good pics coz we were seated abit the far away. but nonetheless.. good music!!!
Sunday was spent cleaning my kitchen, bathroom, my bedroom.. coz my OCD kicked in. haha. did some work *yipeee* and went to the vietnamese restaurant for more cold rolls roasted quails and warm seafood salad. haha.
Wednesday is coming!! *excited*
take care guys... PS: wong wheres ur blog?? fidel are you even alive?

this is really really strange. I am having my second Mrs Fields Cookie (they are so good I don't mind staying fat because of them) and within my 5m radius there are 5 guys. 2 engaging in Winning Eleven and the rest are playing poker.
Lucky Mankind created Internet and Mrs Fields cookies or else I might be bored to tears.
I feel slightly weird in this place. It makes me feel like it's Chinese New year! because that's the only time the gambling is rampant in my house and the little kids take out all their games to play non stop, whilst some cheesy cheena song plays on the recorder.
Maybe I should learn to play dota. haha.
But I like the way Victor isnt' embarressed to bring me along to his men outings. Not that I want to be there all the time, especially not for LAN shop male bonding sessions. But it is just very nice of him and his mates to accommodate me. So I wouldn't feel so left out. Garry offered me the cookies and they were saying how the cleanest spot in the house is probably on Victor's lap (because the apartment is shared by 3 male bachelors) *lol*
I have to start doing my work. boo hoo hoo.
*pouts*

That's my big victor! and that's unspectacled me. It's finally the last day of uni. SO relieved. because I need the break. not to rest but to catch up on work. There's a wine and cheese party tonight at Han's place. Supposed to dress up. Sounds like fun to me! ;D
Hmm, but I feel as though I have neglected my other friends since I have commenced being a full time gf. How do you juggle uni, bf and frens? I just dun seem to be able to do it. and I don't wanna seem as the sort of person who runs off once she is attached. AHHH. messy messy.

Another birthday come and gone.
Yvonne dearest got her wish! I made her exactly what she wanted: cookies in a nice jar. haa. she is rather easy to please. Anyway the rest of the day went down with a bang following a trip to the oyster bar (they serve like oysters in like 12 different styles or something) and then for vietnamese food (imagine cold rolls, roasted quails, seafood salad!) We got really tipsy and happy after many gulps of wine. Angie was especially funny. She was almost falling asleep. and I hit Victor's tummy with a forceful slap - UNINTENTIONALLY I SWEAR! haa.
It was all good.
On a side note, i watched stealth! (is that how you spell it?) it was pretty interesting. Showing how Artificial Intelligence can be both good and detrimental to humans. I felt quite touched when ADDY drove itself into the enemy's helicoptor. *weeps*
Alright guys... that's it for now.

Tiffany's party!
I cannot believe this girl made a whole gang of people dress up in PINK. and I decided to go with the flow and decorate the house in pink, serve pink marshmallows and pink biscuits, made a pink ribena fruit punch thing, and had everyone use pink napkins! The only thing that was untouched by the power of pink was tiffany herself, who decided to come in black - to save the world. haahaa.
Had pretty good food. Victor and Edwin made fried beehoon (which they gobbled a whole bowl each before the arrival of guests..tsktsk). Hans made birthday cake and tiramisu and curry (the chef's food obviously never failed us). Venita and Ian did baked chicken wings (who said ready made food taste sucky??) Alex and Yong made fried wantan and wedges. I was pretty worried that there wouldnt be enough food but thank god there was and everyone was stuffed and happy. We had alot of fun talking about stupid things and the guys spent a good amount of time teasing the birthday girl. lol
The decoration is still up. We have decided to leave it there until they start dropping off. See, this is the epitome of laziness i tell you.
Upcoming bdae: Yvonne's. 13th september! o.o

Just finished a pancreatic cancer case. In the end, the poor guy died of a cardiovascular event - ie: a heart attack or stroke. It's so saddening because this is the first patient that died in our cases. Normally, we would know the patient and somehow or another their condition will improve and all. Hai, so I guess medicine isn't all that powerful and magical in healing and curing people afterall. You treat them for something, but they might not escape from another disease.
Alright, enough lamenting.
I am supposed to have a night out with Victor this evening. It's quite sad when I think of the fact that I had to tell him I wanted a surprise. But it was really sweet of him to actually try to plan something nice for me. Haha, in the end I made him tell me the surprise. What an ass I am. so spoiler.
Tiffany's party is coming up on saturday! oh my god, that girl wants everyone to dress in pink. I hope she doesn't live to regret seeing a cluster of pink-clad girls AND boys. somehow i can imagine all the guys turning up in pink polo tees and tucked up collars. all the act seh looks they will give, and I can picture them asking the girls to take cool shots of them in their outfits. ahhhh...
That's about it for now. I'm looking forward to the holidays so at least I can have a breather. Shall post some pics up soon! except that i am too lazy..hee.

I don't know about you guys but the freaking spam comments are pissing me off so badly. i just hope that they are not viruses...
Went for the royal adelaide show yesterday! hee. it was SO crowded and because there was some rides specials, like 40 bucks for unlimited rides, the queues for rides were really long. and not to forget all the funfair food.. like candy floss and hotdogs.. and corn! and milkshakes.
There was this place where alot of the food were available for sampling. Heh, so we got looney at the yoghurt stall and the slush (like the 7-11 slurpee) stall.
Wanted to end the evening by taking the ferris wheel but i was too impatient to wait. heh.
Ate so much junk.
Time to start my gym regime!

current mooncake count: 4.5
1.5 mooncakes have been digested by the bile salts and lipase in my intestines. storage of fats has commenced. this is coupled by a spike in the glycemic levels in my blood soon after the ingestion of the mooncake.
sorry for the geek talk. i'm doing a pancreas/bile duct/liver case right now.
got to go. have a presentation to give in 10 mins! haa.... and guess what. it is on the colonial adventure. ;D
*hugs*

a wonderful evening!
must say a big thank you to tiffany mama and tiffany papa for the perfect evening. Great food. good company and somehow i could almost feel as though i was back home! hee.
my mooncake numbers dwindled from 8 to 6. because the mooncake shop packed in the yolk ones instead of the non yolk ones. sob. so the ang moh man at the customs took them away from me. but at least i have mooncakes. which wouldnt even last me until the actual mid authum festival. haha. i am too greedy.
dessert at hans' place. an interesting blend of red bean soup paste thing and tiny glutinous rice balls that resembled mothballs. haa. and the complementory brilliant disguise wine to go along with it! yippee. life is good isnt it?
next monday is busy day. have a presentation to do. and i have to go down to the hospital for tutorials on the wards. plus PBL. whee. and i still might want to go to the Royal Adelaide Show on sunday. i am so greedy. everything also want to do.
hmm. on a side note, monochrome theme is interesting. wat about theme: queer? hee. not necc gay. just. different. alternative sorts of thing i suppose.
alright sweeties. take care. weather is warmer! and i am happier.

Yippee! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is finally opened today! I am so happy. I cannot believe how long the movie took to be screened down under. It's ridiculous! sob.
Material Theme? o.O isnt that abit weird. Any other ideas?
Fidel: I think Tiffany will be most happy if you send him a gay man from UK to spend a night with her. lol
