of birds and fish

sydney's weather is truly unpredictable. rain. shine. cloudy. windy. rain. shine. windy.
but luckily we managed to take the ferries to watson's bay and manly beach! yeay. it was too cold to suntan so we just walked under the warm and gentle sun... heh

just checked my email and phone. no phone call from the MEU... ie: no need to sit for supplementary papers. which equate to either pass/fail. scaryyy.

at watson's bays, i met with a troop of the scariest birds alive in australia. flesh-eating birds who hunt. birds that attack their prey in the face of anyone. the birds were fearless, with a sharp eye for the vulnerability of their prey.

prey in this case, was dear victor's fish and chips. most notably, the fried battered fish coated with tartar sauce. whilst victor went to get more tar tar sauce to drown his fish in, the birds attacked his fish. in the blink of an eye, the fish was torn into bits and pieces by the troop of birds. and all that remained was the other piece of fish, sitting looking very lonely, having to settle for the companion of the ketchup-covered chips.

daph stared in horror of the brutal acts committed by the birds, as victor mourned over the loss of his fish that he did not managed to eat and enjoy.

conclusion: never eat outdoors at a beach. hungry birds are always on the prowl
